ADB says AI investments to drive developing Asia growth

Surging global investments in artificial intelligence and easing inflation give developing Asia a launch pad for sustained economic growth in 2024 and 2025, the Asian Development Bank said Wednesday. The inflation forecast for 2025 is also revised down to 2.9 percent, from 3.0 percent earlier this year, “creating conditions for eventual monetary policy easing” to support economic activity.
